Public Approval of Congress Hits New Low: 9% Approval Poll!

Public approval of Congress has sunk to its lowest-ever level, according to a poll released Tuesday.
The Rasmussen Reports survey of 1,000 likely voters showed that just 9 percent believe Congress is doing a good or excellent job. That’s down from 11 percent in June and 15 percent at the beginning of 2008.

This Democratic Congress is a cowardly disgrace, because President Bush will PARDON the telecoms on his way out of office regardless - if only to keep them quiet in future litigation or criminal cases - so the only outcome of the bill will be to rob public advocacy groups of the opportunity to air out these crimes in the future.
Jonathan Turley on MSNBC Countdown news show: "This bill is an EVISCERATION of the 4th Amendment, an entirely political" sellout to the immense corporate donations of the telecom industry.
Speaker Pelosi and her "Democrat" "leadership" have SQUNADERED the OPPORTUNITY to DEFINE President Bush's administration as CORRUPT TO THE CORE -and for that reason, her Congress now has BASEMENT approval ratings.
