WITHIN TWO WEEKS of Obama & his HHS Secretary KATHLEEN SEBELIUS practically BRAGGING to the White House press corpse
"WE HAVE A BREAKTHROUGH! To RESTRAIN HEALTH COSTS and save consumers ONE TRILLION DOLLARS over the next ten years" -
- well, the HMO and health insurance execs have made even that pathetic (1.5%) pledge an ABJECT FARCE.
You know, just as Ed Schultz, host of the MSNBC "Ed" show and his own 3 hour talk-radio show said they (the health co. execs) would.
Since we are ENTIRELY TOO LAZY to transcribe Mr. Schultz's entirely prescient comments from just a week or two ago, we will present Nobel prize-winning economist PAUL KRUGMAN's op-ed (paraphrasing):
"PRESIDENT OBAMA was a SUCKER and a FOOL, if he thought he was going to get a DIME out of the Health company execs, WITHOUT FIRST BEATING 'em OVER THE HEAD with MASSIVE WHITE HOUSE PUBLICITY ___FOCUSING___ MASSIVE PUBLIC OUTRAGE on the JOBS-killing, BUSINESSES-killing, and ECONOMY-KILLING rising health-care costs."
