Is there ANY sane or rational reason why "Democratic" President Barack Obama sticks with his failed and disastrous "economics" crew, men who are only a half-step in front of scandals, men - Larry Summers, Rahm Emanuel, Tim Geithner among others - with a long trail of financial DISASTER and ECONOMIC RUIN behind them?
Does Mr. Obama not realize that THE ONLY PEOPLE in the entire world who have good things to say about Tim Geithner, Ben Bernanke, and Lawrence Summers, are the Goldman Sachs, JPM, and Citi banksters (et al) (read, Robert Rubin allies still standing on Wall Street) who have benefitted from the vast transfer of wealth from the public, to the big banksters, over the past few years?
Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner don't even make a (Rahm Emanuel or Joe Lieberman-esque) FARCE of PRETENDING to be "Democratic" - they are both not only unrepentent Republicans, but they are both Radical Right-Wing "Deregulation," secrecy, and no-oversight Phil Gramm, Ken Lay, and Dick Armey style Republicans.
MR. Obama, after spending all of 2008 pledging and promising "Change!" to millions of American voters, has placed TWO Radical Right-Wing Republicans - George W. Bush ECONOMY-KILLING RETREADS Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner at that - back in to the 2 most important financial positions in the American economy - this is not "change" - it is more of the same, on steroids!
For shame, Mr. Obama!
You'd better get yourself OUT of your self-imposed GOLDDAMN-SACHS White House BUBBLE, QUICK! At ONE year into your administration, you have made vast swaths of the American public FORGET about the Bush-Cheney administration follies. At this rate, at 2 years into your administration, you will be MORE reviled and detested than Mr. Bush was, after 8 years in office, when he departed your inauguration in a helicopter last years to thousands of boos, whistles, and catcalls!
