"The Other PLOT to WRECK America" is the headline for this weekend's Frank Rich NY Times op-ed, a commentary explaining that today's economic crisis in America is, indeed the result of a "PLOT TO WRECK America"!
HuffingtonPost.com even carried the headline over a picture of Wall Street bracketed by photos of current GOLDDAMN-SACHS CHAIRMAN Lloyd Blankfein on one side, and former "Democratic" Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin (who was also a former Golddamn-Sachs chairman) on the other side.
This is a masterpiece article that deserves to have EVERY LINK hit (clicked on), saved, and filed under "favorites" for near-term citation and reuse.

(shortly after the Phil Gramm "Deregulation" follies that then Treasury Secretary Rubin pushed "Democrat" President Clinton to sign, Citi-bank was renamed "Citi-group"), and the 2nd link to a recent (Jan. 2010) article about Citi-bank creator Sandy Weil whining & complaining about the bankruptcy DESTRUCTION of Citi-group during those same years Rubin & co. took over at Citi, are worth the time to look at Mr. Rich's op-ed this morning, alone.
But Mr. Rich does far better than that. He gives us a brief, clear overview or outline of the follies, arrogance, greed, scorn, and FINANCIAL CRIMES which have led _directly_ to this current economic crisis, which is, literally, KILLING AMERICANS by the dozens, with every new incident of "going postal" workplace rage, as some laid-off employee returns to his former workplace with guns blazing.
(The first such incident, in California last year, saw a financially strapped father gun down his entire family.)
HEY, it's ONLY the "PLOT to WRECK America."
Can you say, "Heckva Job, Bushie! reading 'My Pet Goat' at a children's school in Florida on September 11, 2001, , as first one, then another, then another, then a FOURTH! US airliner DISAPPEARS off of FAA radar tracking screens (when the hijack pilots turn of the plane's transponders), and start CRASHING INTO major American landmarks and business or military institutions?!
Can you say, "President Obama is either CLUELESS about, _or_ he is a PART OF a CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY to WRECK America's economy"?

What we don’t know WILL HURT US, and quite possibly ON A MORE DEVASTATING SCLAE than any Qaeda attack. Americans must be told the full story of how Wall Street GAMED and INFLATED the housing bubble, made out like bandits, and then LEFT MILLIONS of [American] households IN RUINS.
Without that reckoning, there will be no public clamor for serious reform of a financial system that was as cunningly breached as airline security at the Amsterdam airport.
And without reform, another massive attack on our economic security is guaranteed.
Now that it can count on government bailouts, Wall Street has more incentive than ever to pump up its risks — secure that it can keep the bonanzas while we get stuck with the losses.
The window for change is rapidly closing.
